We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team and help lead our nursing department to new heights of excellence.
Position Overview:
As the RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care. You will assist in leadership and management of the nursing staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while fostering a culture of compassion, excellence, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the nursing staff to ensure they are providing exceptional care to our residents.
- Assist in developing and implementing nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor quality of care and performance metrics to continuously improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Promote and maintain a positive and professional work environment that values teamwork and mutual respect.
- Assist in budgeting, staffing, and resource management for the nursing department.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care and services.
- Support the DON with the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
- Lead by example, promoting the facility’s core values of excellence, integrity, and compassion.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current and active license in the state.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical nursing role, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead a team and foster a positive, collaborative environment.
