The Risk Manager job responsibilities will include:
- Manage workers compensation and liability programs
- Monitor and administer claims effectively
- Investigate, resolve, and respond to all workers compensation, property, and liability claims
- Manage all phases of the claims process from intake, investigation, and closure
- Provide timely notification of claims to insurance carriers
- Communicate with operations, employees, clinics, triage services and carriers
- Maintain cost control measures and develop cost reduction strategies
- Identify, track and review safety trends and issues
- Manage relationships with third party service providers
- Develop and implement standards, processes, programs
- Identify potential risk exposures, recommend solutions, implement approved programs, promote loss prevention, and monitor compliance
- Facilitate the interactive processes in compliance with State and Federal regulations
- Monitor and maintain company safety program
- Will require 20% travel
Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in related field and two (2) or more years of risk management experience OR four (4) or more years of increasingly responsible risk management experience
- Certification as a Risk Manager through ARM, ARM-P, IEA, or an equivalent professional or vocational institution
- Strong with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
- High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
