The Risk Management Strategic Coordinator will develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This role involves analyzing potential risks, recommending mitigation plans, and coordinating cross-departmental risk management activities. Strong analytical skills and experience in risk assessment are essential.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This is an overview of the primary responsibilities for this role. This is not a complete list of the role functions. All employees are responsible for assisting the organization with various duties as directed by management.
- Risk Management Services record keeping and team support.
- Develop and maintain good communications with all insurance carriers, Service Teams Manager, Loss Prevention team, Risk Advisors, Client Managers and personnel on behalf of the agency.
- Verbal and on-site client risk assessment, strategy planning and risk control advisement.
- Conduct periodic analyses of client loss experience to determine potential trends or specific problem areas that need correction and develop recommendations to control specific unsafe conditions or acts.
- Assist clients in development and implementation of meaningful Loss Prevention programs to reduce or minimize loss.
- Provide written materials to assist clients in OSHA compliance and injury reportable/recordable guidance.
- Build and maintain loss prevention training and educational resources.
- Manage service partners engagement, quality oversight & relationships.
- Online platform management (Not limited to: Easy Generator, Filemaker, ISNetworld).
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned including writing Risk Management newsletter articles, safety blogs, conducting seminars for clients etc.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills in scheduling, conducting client services, completing required documentation
- Strong attention to detail and process
- Professional, pleasant phone voice, demeanor, and a professional appearance
- Must possess a high level of dependability
- Maintain confidential information
- Ability to travel to prospective and current clients
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly or occasionally required to meet the following physical demands. To assure safety, employees in this role must be able to complete the following physical requirements.
- Continuously remains in a stationary position for long periods of time, up to 6-8 hours.
- Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and fingers either typing or writing.
- Occasionally move about the office to access office machinery and lift to 10 lbs. Capable of ascending/descending to different floors in case of emergency. Continuously operate a computer (6-8 hours) and other office productivity machinery such as printer/copy machine.
- May be required to work extended hours to meet client/organizational deadlines.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Loss Prevention terminology
- Knowledge of ECSI (Emergency Care & Safety Institute)
- Aptitude to learn new technical applications
- Not limited to Easy Generator, Filemaker, ISNetworld, Adobe Illustrator
