**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a **Risk Management Lead** to be based in **Fresno, CA** .
**SUMMARY:**
The Risk Management Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the risk management strategies across all stages of the project and/or program. This role involves identifying potential risks, analyzing their impact, and creating mitigation strategies to minimize or eliminate negative outcomes. The Risk Management Lead ensures that both operational and project risks are effectively managed, contributing to the successful delivery of projects and the achievement of program goals.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Assess the identification, assessment, and evaluation of risks across all phases of projects, business operations, and initiatives
+ Conduct risk assessments and facilitate risk workshops to guarantee all potential risks are identified and analyzed
+ Evaluate and prioritize risks based on their likelihood, impact, and potential consequences
+ Develop and implement risk mitigation plans, strategies, and controls to reduce the likelihood and impact of identified risks
+ Work closely with applicable parties to develop effective risk response strategies
+ Confirm that risk controls are actively monitored and adjusted as necessary throughout the project lifecycle
+ Prepare regular risk reports, dashboards, and updates for all applicable parties
+ Establish risk management frameworks and methodologies aligned with industry best practices and project objectives
+ Provide guidance on the integration of risk management into project planning, budgeting, and execution processes.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective risk management practice
+ Maintain thorough documentation of risk management activities, including risk registers, assessments, mitigation plans, and control measures
+ Assist investigations into risk-related incidents, analyzing the root causes and providing recommendations for improvement
+ Confirm that lessons learned from incidents are documented and used to enhance future risk management strategies
**Qualifications**
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
+ BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor's degree in risk management, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant discipline
+ 8+ years of experience in risk management, with demonstrated expertise in managing risks in civil construction projects
+ Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools
+ Proficiency in risk management software and tools
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and prioritize risks based on impact and probability
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively
+ Proven ability to lead teams, develop strategies, and influence decision-making processes
+ Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements related to risk management
+ Professional certifications in risk management are highly desirable
+ Experience in specific industries where risk management is critical
+ Knowledge of enterprise risk management (ERM) principles and practices

+ Travel may be required for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $83,179.00 - $153,881.00.
