About the Job
As an AI Governance & Integration Lead within the Data Analytics and Intelligent Automation team, you will be responsible for overseeing the integration of AI models into production environments, ensuring that they are scalable, reliable, and user-friendly. Additionally, you will ensure that each project follows the Risk Management & Compliance (RM&C) AI/ML Lifecycle, with agreed roles and responsibilities across technology teams and business units.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for integrating AI models into existing and new applications, while ensuring that integration processes align with business goals and technical requirements.
- Work closely with data scientists to understand the models being developed and application development team to understand functionality to drive operational testing and validation.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, data science and other stakeholder teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.
- Oversee the technical aspects of AI model deployment, including API development, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure. Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to model integration and deployment.
- Possess a strong project management mindset to ensure that each project follows the defined lifecycle, with agreed roles and responsibilities across technology teams and business units. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and integration technologies.
- Propose and implement improvements to integration and governance processes and tools.
- Guide training and resources to employees on AI governance, ethical considerations, and best practices through fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Execute governance frameworks and processes to ensure effective oversight of the LLM lifecycle.
- Produce reporting and MIS for program governance forums, senior management and wider stakeholder groups.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in integrating AI models into production environments
- Strong background in software engineering and development lifecycle
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and programming languages such as Python
- Experience with RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
- Well organized, detail oriented, process driven and able to work systematically
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate between multiple teams
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced degree
- Experience in financial services or a related industry
- Knowledge of risk management and compliance practices
- Experience with large-scale data processing and analytics platforms
- Strong analytical, technical, and statistical skills
- Ability to synthesize and analyze diverse information, develop recommendations and make decisions
