MUST-KNOWS 

• This is an 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday 
• This position requires full-time, on-site attendance in Pontiac, MI
• This role does not provide immigration sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Collect, review and examine an applicant’s financial history and records
• Perform risk assessment reports
• Analyze client’s financial statements and identify effective alternatives to application
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to investor guidelines, state and federal underwriting lending policies and the required documentation
• Keep up with changes and adaptations as they occur
• Provide elite service to internal and external clients
• Communicate with clients via email and over the phone on loan status, which includes Mortgage Loan Officers and Broker Owners 
• Manage multiple priorities while building rapport with clients

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• Bachelor's Degree, associate degree OR 1+ year of mortgage experience in underwriting and/or processing 
• Complex rationale and problem-solving skills 
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other internet resources 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Willingness to learn and be coached 
• Adaptable to a flexible, fast-changing industry 
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic 
• Ability to take accountability for actions 
• Preferred experience in Finance and/or Accounting (financial analysis, accounts receivable and accounts payable)
