Responsibilities:Purpose:
The Risk Analyst supports the Firm’s Risk Department in connection with in-house compliance and client-related research. This position is based in New York but is part of an international team.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and analyze data for new business/matters at the Firm.
- Maintain the department’s internal website.
- Review and analyze outside counsel guidelines and engagement contracts of the Firm’s clients.
- Work with the Associate General Counsel, Assistant General Counsel and Risk Attorneys to provide responses to client questionnaires and requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Assist with the audit letter inquiry process.
- Provide support to firm employees in connection with insider lists, legal holds, firewalls, statistical reports and other projects.
- Maintain client documentation database and log various client related documents.
- Conduct Risk trainings to various Firm stakeholders.
- Work on ad hoc projects that arise from time to time.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Ability to learn quickly; multi-task, understand a diverse array of Firm systems, technology, and departmental operations.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a focus on attention to detail and the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to manage a workload comprising of day to day queries as well as longer-term projects.
- Must be a fast thinker and quick learner able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Must be able to prioritize, multi task, show confidence and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High level of proficiency in MS office applications, especially Excel and Word, is preferred.
- Previous experience with statistical analysis is preferred.
- Should be resourceful, possess initiative and be able to work autonomously with a high personal motivation, while also being an effective member of a global team.
*The estimated base salary range for this position is $72,500,000 to $75,000 at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, and performance. This role is non-exempt, meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
