SUMMARY
The Risk Adjustment Coordinator is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Risk Adjusment Department. This position will work closely with VBC Risk Adjustment Lead Coder and Program Managers, (Nurse Practiconers) and external vendors to provide assistance on the Chronic Disease Managed Visit (CDMV) Program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
- Provides administrative and clerical support for assigned department.
- File and maintain all files for the department in an accurate and timely manner.
- Copy, fax, scan and index documents as needed in (Electronic Medical Record) EMR and other tools as needed.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to maintain spreadsheets with up-to-date information.
- Weekly reconciliation of CDMV appointment tracker for internal and external vendor use
- Collaborate with Lead Coder to provide weekly Nurse Practitioner Location list
- Maintain user ID access and passwords for Web portal administration and other information systems assigned.
- Track Appointments completed through EMR, send weekly updates to management.
- Attend weekly team meetings, 1-1 meetings with management, and other meetings as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of department records per department protocol, including sensitive information related to company, licensing, patient medical and personal information.
- Provide support to all department members as needed and/or directed.
- Responds courteously and professionally to internal and external colleagues via phone calls, office visits, correspondence etc.
- Actively promote GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Participate in team concepts and promote a team effort; perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
