Job Title: Ring Machine Operator
Location: North Royalton, OH
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Shift: 6 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday

Summary: Takes wire from coils, feeds into machine, and makes rings for filter bag cages by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Takes coils of wire from the warehouse and puts them on the ring machine using the tow-motor.
• Sets up machine to make sure the wire will be straight and has no scratches.
• Sets up machine to roll the rings the correct OD/ID and corrects butt-weld using ring cutting request form.
• Stops machine and moves rings to the warehouse when bin/box is full.
• Takes empty wire carriers outside for return to vendor.
• Checks the OD/ID of the rings being run using a tape measure/caliper
• Reports any problems to the Production Line Foreman.
• Cleans up around area before shift ends.
• Takes bins of rings to automatic machine.

• Education:High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Experience operating machinery, particularly in metalworking or similar industries, is a plus.

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and machine operation.
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to use measurement tools such as tape measures and calipers accurately.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality control.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to report issues clearly to supervisors.
• Dependability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
