Olive Recruiting is looking for an experienced Rigging Superintendent to support a specialty rigging client in Bristow, VA. The Rigging Superintendent is an essential hands-on leadership role that will be responsible for all project activities, department management, and customer success.

Location: Bristow, VA
Full-time, direct hire with client
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with a comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities:

Hands on supervisory role with the ability to effectively rig utilizing forklifts, Versa-Lifts, cranes, skates, jacks, Gantry and other necessary equipment
Provides strategic leadership to meet operational goals in terms of volume, cost, quality, safety, and schedule
Develop, train, and instruct one or more crews in the best-known rigging operation practices and procedures including safety
Work closely with safety personnel in coordinating safety training, accident, and injury investigations and reporting and equipment or property damage incidents investigations and reporting
Effectively manage projects by documenting and organizing all project details ensuring accuracy with all necessary information.
Manage and build rigging department
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned or as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years' proven rigging foreman experience or comparable field preferably within the rigging industry
Minimum 5 years' rigging experience with forklift, skating, leveling, and anchoring of machines
Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States
Experience moving and setting large equipment such as presses required
Active rigging certification and ability to drive an issued company vehicle
