Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled RF Power Amplifier Designer who will be responsible for the design, development and testing of RF power amplifiers to meet the requirements of our clients. The successful candidate will be working with a team of experienced engineers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF power amplifiers from concept to production.
- Perform simulations and analysis using simulation tools such as Microwave Office, ADS, ANSYS and HFSS.
- Implement amplifier classes, matching networks, power amplifier architectures, and other design techniques.
- Test and troubleshoot amplifier designs, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to ensure successful integration of RF subsystems.
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF/microwave design with a focus on power amplifier design.
- Solid understanding of simulation tools such as Altium, Microwave Office, ADS, ANSYS and HFSS.
- Strong knowledge of amplifier classes, matching networks, power amplifier architectures, and design techniques.
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting power amplifiers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
