Job Details
Position Overview: The REVIT Drafter, reporting to the Design Manager, will utilize REVIT to produce drawings across a variety of construction projects.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Produce design and construction documents in REVIT
- Produce shop drawings for fabrication and construction
- Produce plans, sections, elevations, and details to convey architectural design and construction information
- Gain an understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods
- Promote a collaborative team atmosphere
- Work under the direction of the internal architects and engineers
- Convert CAD drawings/equipment layouts into REVIT
- Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor
- Produce schedules and bill of materials
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of experience in drafting
- REVIT proficiency
- Knowledge of BIM drafting techniques and software
- Understanding of construction detailing and design techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multifamily construction drafting experience
- Associates Degree or CAD Certifications
