About the Job
SUMMARY: To generate, develop, and maintain computer generated drawings and records
using Revit software (primarily), and AutoCAD software (occasionally) for facilities space
management for our portfolio of shopping centers, including architectural, structural, MEP, and
site / civil information.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a Revit/CADD station in the production of project documents. Project requirements include drafting and modeling.
- Assist in the development, monitoring, and updating of program standards related to Revit/CADD and other modeling standards to maximize efficiencies and reduce labor.
- Responsible for meeting established schedules required of project work.
- Work closely with other internal departments, as well as our mall teams to meet drawing needs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Associate's Degree in Architectural Technology or Drafting, with coursework in Revit and CADD.
EXPERIENCE: A Revit/CADD Operator should have a background in Revit building modeling and CADD drafting, a minimum of three year's experience; or an Associate Arts Degree (2-year) and 1 year experience in CADD, Facilities Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
OTHER QUALITIES: Working knowledge of Revit/CADD hardware, software and equipment; the capabilities of Revit/CADD as a tool in production and design; procedures for production of design development and construction documents. Knowledge of architectural planning, drafting, detailing, and building construction. Working knowledge of site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior design disciplines. General knowledge of codes. Rendering experience is preferred, especially the use of Photoshop. Good written and spoken communication skills to effectively and efficiently coordinate project requirements to meet project deliverables.
