Due to the success of our organization, we are hiring a Revenue Returns Associate to work onsite at our Glen Allen, VA office.
The Revenue Returns Associate is responsible for handling all product returns from our customers. Refund the insurance companies as needed. Undertake all work in accordance with law, regulation, payer requirements, and company requirements and policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Demonstrates HCD Core Values: Inspire, Innovate, Be Compassionate, Show Gratitude, Act Boldy.
- Review Returns Manager daily to identify and process all approved returns.
- Accurately and expediently submits refunds to payers (electronically/paper) successfully according to a schedule determined by Home Care Delivered, in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Monitor refunds to ensure properly retracted by the payer. If not retracted, the associate must contact the payer for a resolution.
- Identify discrepancies and effectively work toward their resolution or communicate to other personnel for resolution as is appropriate.
- Maintains an appropriate level of communication and confidentiality.
- Performs all other duties as assigned, which may vary at any time with or without notice.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma and/or GED required. Associate’s degree preferred. Degree can be in general studies, accounting, finance or similar course of study.
- Experience with medical insurance billing or collections is required.
- Must have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 6-8 hours a day, while working at a computer station.
- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using a keyboard, mouse, and other computer peripherals for data entry and communication purposes.
- Visual Acuity: Ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods, with good visual acuity to read small print and accurately enter data.
- Hearing: Adequate hearing ability, with or without correction, to understand and respond to customer inquiries via telephone or other audio equipment.
- Repetitive Movements: Regular use of the hands, wrists, and fingers to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and using a mouse.
COMPENSATION:
This is a full-time, non-exempt position with an hourly wage ranging from $18 to $19.
