Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Management and implementation of accounting processes and controls
- Provide monthly LOS statements for management review
- Regulatory filing and reporting, state and federal
- Perform monthly revenue reconciliation
- Revenue, expense, and capital variance reporting and pricing variances; work with operations and management to resolve differences month over month
- Respond to royalty owner and working interest partner inquiries
Qualifications:
- +5 years of hands-on operational oil and gas accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent
- Strong accounting software background (WolfePak a plus)
- Strong oil and gas revenue accounting background
- Strong Tax background (severance, ad valorem, and sales tax)
- Knowledgeable of service company accounting practices
- Able to work on a very small team and possesses a willingness to take on many other responsibilities and tasks outside of the accounting discipline
