Amazon Freight is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our Revenue, S&OP, and Labor Planning team. As a pioneering venture within Amazon, Amazon Freight is dedicated to extending Amazon's logistical prowess to enterprise clients as a premier B2B service. As our enterprise rapidly expands, we are eager to welcome a new analyst to our team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our business trajectory by concentrating on developing sales and operational goals, crafting revenue financial models, performing S&OP forecasts, enhancing our labor planning processes, establishing KPI benchmarks, and refining compliance processes. Through these efforts, you will drive sales strategies, enhance contribution yield margins, and elevate business efficiency through the lens of analytics and data-driven insights. Your responsibilities will encompass identifying growth opportunities, streamlining operations, and instituting benchmarks to propel our business into its next phase of expansion.
Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with leaders and cross-functional teams spanning sales, operations, sales operations, finance, pricing, and beyond. While proficiency in data systems is essential, we are seeking an individual who can transcend mere data access and instead leverage analytics to devise innovative strategies and actionable recommendations, overseeing their implementation from inception to fruition.

Key job responsibilities
- Generate insights through advanced analytics and data mining
- Lead strategic projects to formalize and scale organizational processes
- Develop quantified views of financial inputs and outputs then implement and scale ideas
- Contribute to, develop, and construct models to drive annual and quarterly financial plans and goals
- Partner with stakeholders and leadership in building the business strategy, goals and mechanisms
- Develop a deep understanding of business metrics and reporting tools to provide actionable intelligence with existing metrics or identify and propose new metrics, dashboards, scorecards.
- Create program goals and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to help team achieve objectives
- Growth and Optimization: Identify opportunities for improvement or automation in existing business strategies or processes and lead the changes using your business acumen and data. Your strategic vision will drive impactful enhancements to our P&L lines.
- Build data reports and dashboards: Leverage your data skills and technical means (SQL, Excel, etc.) to enable achievement of business efficiency and tangible outcome across critical processes.
- Generate ad hoc and monthly recurring analyses for goal tracking and operational performance, driving the rhythm of business
- Sales Funnel Tracking, Goal Setting and Program Management
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- 3+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
- 3+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.
- 5+ years of relevant supply chain forecasting or planning experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- 5+ years of data analysis experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
