We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Revenue Manager to join our legal team. This position plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the revenue cycle of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-billing systems and a proven track record of managing and improving revenue processes in a legal environment. This role will require excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of billing and financial processes in the legal industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the entire revenue cycle, from client intake to final billing and collections.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the revenue cycle, including reducing billing errors, improving collection rates, and reducing write-offs.
3. Manage and optimize the use of e-billing systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all billing processes.
4. Collaborate with partners, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure that billing and collection practices are aligned with legal requirements and company policies.
5. Analyze billing and financial data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
6. Prepare and present regular reports on revenue performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
7. Train and mentor staff on billing processes and systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
8. Liaise with clients to resolve billing disputes, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
9. Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes related to billing and collections in the legal industry.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management, preferably in the legal industry.
3. Proven experience with e-billing systems.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and derive actionable insights.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and staff.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
7. In-depth knowledge of billing and collection regulations in the legal industry.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical and compliant billing practices.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
