Responsibilities:Position Summary:
Incumbent is responsible for detailed analysis for an assigned portfolio of research protocols, including billing and charge review of technical and professional fee services provided to research patients, reconciliation of clinical documentation and ensuring harmonization of regulatory documents.

Required Qualifications:
- Resourcefulness to identify and search for information that is not readily available
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must have a minimum 2 years of prior experience in hospital finance setting
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Must be highly organized and able to multi-task
- Knowledge of split claim billing
- Knowledge of payer reimbursement as it relates to charges
- Knowledge of hospital related systems and procedures
- Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, diagnosis codes and revenue codes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrated work experience in a role requiring data analysis
- Demonstrated proficient computer knowledge and experience with QUEST, Invision, STARS, and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
- Ability to prioritize work independently, troubleshoot and resolve problems as they occur and to set and re-set priorities appropriately
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizational structure, policies, procedures, and forms (R764)
- CPC-H or CPC coding certification
