We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Revenue Cycle Director to join our team in the healthcare industry. This position is a critical component of our management team and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, insurance verification, billing, collections, and reporting. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of improving revenue cycle processes, reducing denials, and increasing cash flow. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Revenue Cycle Director, you will be responsible for:
1. Directing and managing all operations of the revenue cycle to ensure maximum revenue and cash flow while maintaining the highest levels of patient, physician, employee, and customer relations.
2. Developing and implementing strategies for the billing, insurance, coding, and collection processes to ensure timely and accurate billing and maximum revenue collection.
3. Analyzing current revenue cycle performance and developing action plans to improve productivity, reduce denials, and enhance cash flow.
4. Monitoring and reporting on key metrics such as claim denial rates, billing errors, and payment cycle times to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
5. Collaborating with other department leaders to streamline processes, enhance communication, and improve overall operational efficiency.
6. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding billing, coding, and collections.
7. Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing revenue cycle team to ensure they have the skills and resources to effectively perform their roles.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Revenue Cycle Director position will have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification in healthcare administration or finance is highly preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management in the healthcare industry, with a focus on improving revenue cycle processes and performance.
3. Proven ability to analyze revenue cycle data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies to improve performance.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with other department leaders and communicate complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and collections regulations and best practices.
7. Proficiency with healthcare billing software and other relevant technology.
