POSITION SUMMARY:
The Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist Team Lead manages, supports and develops a team of Revenue Cycle Billing Specialists to ensure the timely and accurate Revenue Cycle Process.
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Accounting, Finance or Human Resource degree preferred but not required
- Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite of tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Must possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Guide, support and mentor Revenue Cycle Billing Specialists in completion of responsibilities - Work closely with Divisional Director and Senior Revenue Cycle Specialist to ensure the accurate recording of revenue and timely collection of accounts receivable.
- Implement updated systems and policies related to revenue and accounts receivables
- Ensures accurate and timely recording of Revenue Cycle process.
- Develop, Support and Assist Community in relation to Business Office function while adhering to all applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures
- Stay current on billing regulations and guidelines
Experience:
- Prior Team Management experience
- Experience in Long-term care
- Understanding of Medicaid & Medicare
- Experience using PCC (Point Click Care)
