The Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist supports and develops the Business Office staff of the community to ensure the timely and accurate Revenue Cycle Billing Process.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- This is an in-office position in our Beachwood, Ohio location.
- Must have Skilled Nursing Home billing experience
- Experience using Matrix
- Understanding of Medicaid & Medicare
- Analyze and resolve balances on accounts
- Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite of tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
- Exceptional math and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Generate, submit and follow up on claims
- Creates timely, accurate update of collection notes
- Stay current on billing regulations and guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- Ability to communicate in a positive manner, with tact, professionally, and efficiently with communities, management, agencies as well as other members of the Company.
- This is not a remote position.
Experience
- Accounting, Finance or Human Resource degree preferred, but not required.
- Must have Skilled Nursing Home billing experience.
