Revenue AR Analyst - Tandym

A recognized services organization in Nw York City is currently seeking a new Revenue Accounts Receivable Specialist for a promising opportunity with their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Create AR Reports on a monthly basis
• Ensure cash clearing account is monitored and analyzed.
• Track claim adjustments and recoupments in the system by month and fiscal years
• Provide the Finance team with a report on a quarterly basis to determine what billable services have not been captured and reason
• Ensure cash is applied properly to open accounts receivable
• Track adjustments to determine proper revenue for the current fiscal year based on dates of services and prior fiscal year
• Oversee monthly revenue reconciliation
• Work with AR Specialist to ensure proper cash is recorded
• Investigate denials with Medical Billing Manager
• Track NYS Medicaid Recoupments
• Interact with clinical staff to ensure completion and accuracy of records
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for budget analysis

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of related Accounts Receivable experience
• Associate's Degree
• Previous experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance Billing
• Computer savvy and Data Entry skills
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Business Administration
• Knowledge of Medicaid rules
