Retail Store Associate - Better Shipping

Better Shipping is looking to hire a reliable, friendly Retail Store Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Shipping, printing, mail, weighing packages, and assisting customers

• Print and cut customer print orders

• Manage physical and virtual mailboxes

• Pickup customer packages as needed

• Sell retail items

• Check packages for proper postage and addresses

• Register, certify, and insure letters and parcels

• Record and balance cash drawer

• Handle complaints regarding missing packages and delivery problems

• Upsell Items such as boxes, packing tape, and shipping insurance as needed

• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes

• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage

• Train new employees to company standards

• Notarize documents

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of retail sales experience preferred, Pack and Ship experience is great plus.

• Basic computer skills

• Physical requirements include the ability to stand for several hours at a time and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

• Deliver world-class customer service to customers

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Effective oral/written communication skills

• Ability to work well with others.

• SPANISH SPEAKING HIGHLY PREFERRED

• Knowledge of Internet applications and social media is preferred

• Meet the state requirements to become a Notary Public
