About the Job
The Retail Sales and Field Manager is responsible for traveling to our retail store locations in order to manage the training of our teams on all things Garage Door related.
What You'll Do:Responsibilities
- Build our garage door installation business.
- Train teams on installation.
- Create and write SOP’s.
- Create a training program and communicate best practices.
- Train teams on order entry.
- Help to train teams on selling best practices in order to help drive the business.
- Steer/advise us in warranty and service work—what we need to stock.
- Interview and hire installation crews for our markets.
- Align with current production managers and market presidents on what to expect.
- Run checkpoints on business costs (maintain KPIs for installation and material).

Who You Are:Education and/or Experience
- Needs to know the garage door business extremely well.
- Skilled with installation/service experience.
- Leadership qualities- to gain confidence and participation of market leaders, sales and install teams.
- Articulate to train and communicate processes.
- Able to write SOP’s and build training presentations.
- Organized to document the multi-market launches.
- Execution- get installation teams trained and hired at the market level.

- Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing.

- Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
- Need to be able to lift 50lbs.
Travel Requirements
Must be able to travel to all our retail locations on a regular basis.
