Retail Sales Associate: (5) Fulltime, Temporary, Seasonal (H-2B) Jobs available 04/01/2025-11/30/2025.
Employer: Stony Hill Gardens, LLC., 8 Rt 24, Chester, New Jersey, 07930.
Duties: Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits for food items, plant material. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers. Establish or identify prices of goods, & tabulate bills. Greet customers, answer questions, provide information on procedures, policies, & resolve complaints. Process merchandise returns & exchanges. Maintain clean & orderly checkout areas & complete other general cleaning duties. Stock shelves & mark prices on shelves & items. Tend to amusement attractions, collect & sell tickets, sell & serve refreshments.
Able to lift 50lbs. Have knowledge of American currency & ability to count, give, & make change. Be 18 yrs of age. Must speak & understand English at least at a conversational level.
Employer facilitates voluntary housing arrangements upon worker request along with corresponding payroll deductions of $25/week.
No education required. No experience required.
Work Days: Monday-Sunday, 40 hours/wk. Work week, hours, & start/end time will vary. As early as 5am - as late as 10pm. Workers will be paid Weekly at $17.67/hour, $26.51/hour OT. Raise at employer's discretion.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid.
All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
