About the job

We are looking for an additional part-time Retail Sales Associate to join our growing Boston team on Newbury Street. The ideal candidate is a passionate, dependable, confident and trusted client advisor with a knowledge and enthusiasm for sales. Someone who takes initiative, has experience in the luxury retail market and strong communication skills will be successful in this position. This position will require a combination of weekday and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Confidently work the sales floor, selling to customers and sharing the Norwegian Wool story
• Respectfully assist customers and communicate special features with a strong understanding of the products and brand
• Establish a welcoming and approachable luxury environment
• Provide assistance to customers in person and over the phone
• Assist in carefully packing up shipments for e-commerce orders
• Maintain product displays neatly and in an aesthetically pleasing manner
• Help with product & supplies inventory checks

Qualifications

• Must have retail experience selling clothing (1 year minimum)
• Must be comfortable using selling POS software to checkout customers
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Knowledge of fashion and luxury fashion
• Familiar with store operations and comfortable opening and closing the store without assistance
• Ability to reliably commute to Newbury Street in Boston, MA

Applicants must dress professionally to reflect the high-end nature of Norwegian wool.

Compensation: $22 / hr. starting + commission

The schedule will include at least one day each weekend.
