The Retail Marketing Manager will spearhead marketing initiatives that bolster the performance and brand presence of our brick-and-mortar stores across North America. Reporting directly to the President of Läderach North America, this role is crucial for enhancing customer engagement and driving sales at the store level.
- Store Support and Strategy Implementation:
- Craft and implement marketing strategies that directly support our stores, focusing on promotions, local advertising, and impactful in-store displays.
- Work closely with store managers to tailor campaigns to local markets and enhance the in-store customer experience.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Ability to manage a team with proven leadership skills, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
- Provide guidance and support in the development of team members’ marketing and analytical skills.
- Consumer Insights and Market Adaptation:
- Analyze consumer trends and market dynamics to optimize our offerings and marketing tactics in the retail sector.
- Adapt strategies based on competitive analysis and industry best practices.
- Collaboration with International Teams:
- Coordinate with the international marketing team in Bilten to align on global brand strategies and ensure consistent messaging across markets.
- Retail and Luxury Market Expertise:
- Leverage experience in premium/luxury retail (food/small consumables preferred) to enhance brand positioning and attract a discerning clientele.
- Engage with the culinary and retail food community to stay abreast of the latest trends that could influence our marketing strategies.
- Operational and Budget Management:
- Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize return on investment and meet financial objectives.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in retail or luxury goods, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of retail dynamics and consumer behavior in the luxury food sector.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across different teams and cultures.
- A passion for food, particularly chocolate, with an understanding of the nuances of premium product marketing.
