Job Description:
Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is seeking a Cashier Attendant. This position is responsible for day-to-day Copper & Thistle / Coffee Market operations and providing extraordinary customer service to guests, members, and associates.

Salary for this position starts at (based on experience): $16.00/hour. Part Time Associates at Omni Viking Lakes are entitled to elect the following benefits: Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits. Responsibilities:- Responsible for either the opening or closing of the outlet as assigned. Ensure that outlets are open on time.
- Upsell and organize the retail shop / café merchandise. Also Produce quality beverages for customers such as lattes, cappuccinos, and other espresso-based drinks, blended drinks, and coffee.
- Helps Lobby lounge to run food and beverage, assisting with tables service when needed
- Responsible for maintaining assigned bank each shift.
- Supports new Omni standards and response to changes and updates in the retail area
- Alert Managers of any inventory shortages or ordering needs.
- Follow up on daily projects to ensure follow through.
- Conduct daily and monthly physical inventory
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work area.
- Responsible for maintaining general knowledge of the hotel, including locations of dining outlets, pool, and spa to assist guests and members.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to run the place on their own, include financial responsibility and operation needs
- Ability to create daily orders and requisitions for all retail items, including F&B as well.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management, and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
- Previous customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Scheduling flexibility, including willingness to work split shifts, weekends and holidays.
- General knowledge of cash handling and Point of Sale systems is preferred.
- Must have and maintain current Minnesota’s Food Handlers certification and alcohol tips certificate (If not, training will be conducted during the first week of hire)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move moderate weights.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Working Environment:
- Occasional outdoor tasks and travel around property when needed.
