Restorative Aide Weekends - Elevate Care Abington

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Restorative Aide to join our team at Elevate Care. As a Restorative Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting our residents in maintaining and improving their functional abilities, enhancing their quality of life, and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing individualized restorative care programs under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Assisting residents with exercises, ambulation, and other therapeutic activities to promote mobility and independence.
• Providing compassionate support and encouragement to residents during restorative therapy sessions.
• Documenting resident progress and communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assisting with the maintenance of a safe and clean environment conducive to restorative care activities.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the comprehensive care needs of residents are met.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant and completion of a state-approved Restorative Aide training program preferred.
• Prior experience working in a long-term care setting or with elderly populations preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining resident confidentiality.
