YOUR DAY AS A RESTORATION TECHNICIAN

As a Restoration Technician, your day begins by reviewing the emergency services work schedule with a focused mindset. Ensure strict adherence to company policies, EPA, OSHA, and local safety regulations when handling hazardous materials. You are prepared for after-hours and weekend emergency responses, putting on your protective gear, and skillfully operating tools while conducting routine equipment maintenance. Scaling heights using ladders and scaffolding assists you in inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining equipment with precision. You stock supplies, tackle warehouse and building maintenance tasks, and strictly follow safety protocols in this high-energy role. When embracing the dynamic nature of this flood and water damage restoration job, you may be exposed to hazardous substances and extreme weather conditions. Your commitment to safety and meticulous cleanup approach is vital in restoring properties to their former glory.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of construction and restoration experience, specifically working on water-fire damage jobs, environmental experience, and hazardous waste
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Basic math skills using adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to wear full and half face respirator
• Capability of working in confined spaces
• Ability to regularly lift and carry 50+ pounds
• 5+ years of Construction and restoration experience (preferred)
• Specific experience working on water-fire damage jobs, including environmental and hazardous waste (preferred)
