Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Restaurant Service Manager to lead our front-of-house operations in a high-energy, casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record of delivering excellent guest experiences. This role is responsible for managing service quality, developing team members, and ensuring that guests leave with a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee front-of-house operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality service during all shifts.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of servers, hosts, and bartenders, fostering a positive and service-oriented culture.
- Manage guest interactions and handle complaints or concerns, ensuring quick resolutions and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth coordination between front- and back-of-house operations.
- Monitor service performance, conduct staff evaluations, and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance guest experience.
- Assist with staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage while managing labor costs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.
- Conduct regular service training sessions to ensure the team upholds company standards and provides exceptional hospitality.
- Contribute to marketing efforts by promoting specials and events to increase guest traffic and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a casual dining or high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Proven ability to manage staffing, scheduling, and service quality effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
