The Westerner in West Valley City, UT is calling all customer service rockstars to apply to join our amazing team as a part-time Restaurant Server!

We are a country dance hall, bar, and grill that listens to and values our employees in a fun and exciting atmosphere. We pay our Restaurant Servers a competitive wage of $15/hr for the first 2 weekends, then $8/hr thereafter. Tips range from $100 - $150 per night. ABOUT THE WESTERNER

We first opened our doors in 1962 as Salt Lake City's original country dance hall, bar, and grill! Over the years, our stage has been home to well-known artists from Brad Paisley and George Jones to Rascal Flatts and The Dixie Chicks. Whether our clients are looking for good music, good food, or a good time, they can always find it with us! Our multifunctional design creates fun nights filled with live music, free mechanical bull rides, pool tables, line dance lessons, couple dance lessons, a karaoke room, and more! We provide a fun and safe environment for both our customers and our employees!

YOUR LIFE AS A RESTAURANT SERVER

This part-time position typically works a fun, night-life schedule on Fridays and Saturdays, 7 pm - 2:30 am.

As a Restaurant Server, you're calm and collected as you move from customer to customer to greet them, take their orders, and deliver their food and beverages. You seamlessly move between the bartending stations and patrons with purpose. In addition to providing amazing customer service, you comply with state liquor laws and handle cash and credit card transactions with responsibility and honesty. You absolutely love meeting and serving new people while earning great tips at our restaurant!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• At least 21 years of age
• Utah Alcohol Server Permit within 14 days of hire
• Food handler's permit within 14 days of hire
