Presbyterian Village North is hiring immediately Restaurant Servers. Flexible 4 or 8 hour shifts welcome; open or close serving our amazing Independent Residents!
Hours Open are 9:00 am - 8:00 pm.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide food and beverage service in dining room
- Serve residents and guests in A la Carte, full-service atmosphere with attention to detail and hospitality
- Models a service and solutions oriented attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better
- Friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
- Ensure resident/patient, visitor, self and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards
- Maintain good attendance record; arrive to work timely and conform to scheduled work hours
- Wear appropriate and assigned protective gear, i.e. apron, hair net, mask
- Ability to follow opening and closing procedures including work stations
- Clean and/or pull dishes from dish room to dining area
- Complete daily cleaning according to schedule or Supervisor’s instructions
- Assists with any special events as assigned
- Reset tables to specifications with clean pressed linen
- Fold and sort silverware and napkins for dining room
- Set-up hot buffet/salad bar/desserts/beverages/service side stations and take temperatures of food before service; clean appropriately at the end of service
- Assumes other responsibilities as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or GED
- Previous experience in A la Carte food & beverage service and customer service
- Food Handlers card required
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Ability to be patient and gracious with residents
