Job Requirements:

• Previous restaurant experience not required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Team focused attitude - works well with others
• Strong time management skills
• TIPS Training preferred but not required (Front of House position)
• Food handler card preferred but not required (Back of House position)
• Professional appearance
• Goal oriented
• Ability to stand, bend, and stretch for extended periods

Back of House Position

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with commercial cooking equipment
• Knowledge of standard food handling practice
• Ability to follow standardized recipes, as well as verbal instruction
• Knowledge of HACCP standards

Front of House Position

Job Responsibilities:

• Greeting guest in a friendly and inviting manner
• Point of sale - TOAST
• Prompt delivery of items either to tables or to go - food runner
• Knowledge of menus and nearby attractions
• Ensuring cleanliness of dining area and other guest areas
• Assisting in banquets and other events
• Following policies of both 8 Mile/Echo Canyon River Expeditions and Colorado Health Dept.
