Restaurant Manager at Kansai Japanese Restaurant

• Manage and oversee daily restaurant operations, including coordinating staff activities and ensuring smooth service.
• Make informed decisions regarding staff hiring, training, and scheduling to maintain optimal team performance.
• Procure necessary supplies and manage inventory to meet operational needs and budgetary constraints.
• Maintain business documents such as budgets, financial reports, and operational procedures.
• Prepare detailed operational reports for the Owner’s review, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the Owner on financial planning and business strategies, providing insights and executing plans to drive profitability, and implement the plans.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Report to the Owner/President.
