Restaurant Manager
The Restaurant Manager will report to the Director of Outlets.
The Hotel Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Restaruant & Outles to ensure a seamless guest experience. This role focuses on operational tasks such as staff supervision, guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards for service, cleanliness, and safety. This position requires an individual who can lead by example, work hands-on alongside team members, and consistently drive the success of the restaurant. Successful individuals must be available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays and have proven track records as effective trainers, coaches and motivators.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, direct and motivate supervisors and associates. Must be experienced with cost controls, financial controls, profit and loss statements, etc.
- Direct and participate in the functions of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs among all departments.
- Maintain high standards of food & beverage quality, service & marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
- Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the Food & Beverage operations.
- Assist in the recruiting of high quality personnel and manage the development, motivation and retention of staff.
-Maintain a visible presence in the dining area during peak hours. Monitor the floor to ensure all stations are running smoothly, stepping in where needed.
- Conduct and execute all company directed projects.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
- Extended periods of time walking, up to 8- 10 hrs per day
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times on a regular basis
- Ability to work in various climates both in-door and outdoors. Including but not limited to heat, wind, cold and controlled air-conditioned enviroment.
Additional Qualifications :
- Extended periods of time working on the floor of the restaurant as well as assisting other Food & Beverage outlets of the resort.
- Manages by being present on the floor.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written, as this position requires continuous interaction with hotel guests and staff.
Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including but not limited to assignment of duties, evaluating service and taking disciplinary action when necessary. Must have previous management experience, hotel experience a plus.
Compensation Range:The compensation for this position is $70,000.00/Yr. - $72,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
