Restaurant Manager - Front of House
Full-time to include Evenings and Weekends
The Restaurant Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for leading and motivating a team to achieve the highest level of customer service. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
Responsibilities:
• Perform Open / Mid-Day / Closing duties.
• Conduct shift meetings on matters of importance to the team.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgement.
• Ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and laws.
• Make recommendations concerning development, promotion, and disciplinary action affecting team members.
• Create schedules for front of house staff to ensure there are always enough workers to serve customers.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the restaurant area.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative, warm demeanor and positive attitude.
• High personal integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High level relationship management and performance management skills.
• Ability to motivate and direct team members, and work effectively in the management team.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Managing new hires and leavers.
• 3-5 years of managerial experience.
• Must be available nights and weekends.
• Must be able to work holidays.
