Assistant Manager – New Restaurant Opening in Athens, GA

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at a brand-new restaurant opening soon in Athens, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and help establish the restaurant as a local favorite in Athens.

Position Overview:
You will play a critical role in the successful launch and day-to-day operations of the new location. This position offers a base salary of $55,000 - $65,000, plus bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. The Manager will partner closely with the General Manager to build a high-performing team, oversee operations, and ensure a memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the hiring, training, and development of team members to support the restaurant’s success in Athens, GA.
Maintain high standards for food quality, guest service, and cleanliness to exceed guest expectations.
Monitor daily operations, including labor management, inventory, and budgeting.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, promoting a safe and positive work environment.
Work with the General Manager to achieve financial targets and create promotional opportunities to engage the Athens community.
Lead by example, fostering teamwork and a culture of accountability.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in restaurant leadership or management.
Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Passion for hospitality and building relationships with guests and staff.
Familiarity with the Athens, GA market and enthusiasm for contributing to the local community.
