About the Job
Restaurant General Manager
- Plans, organizes, develops and directs the overall operation of the food and beverage department to assure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Interviews, hires, schedules, trains and evaluates staff.
- Conduct regular daily walk thru inspections of all food and beverage areas.
- Oversees inventories of food and beverage supplies to maintain appropriate levels.
- Sets expectations and holds food and beverage leadership team accountable for demonstrating desired service behaviors.
- Reviews financial reports and statements to determine how Food and Beverage is performing against budget.
- Work with food and beverage leadership team to determine areas of concern and develops strategies to improve the department’s financial performance.
- Identifies opportunities to increase profits and create value by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation and driving necessary change.
- Ensures that regular, on-going communication occurs in all areas of food and beverage.
Qualifications include:
- Solid communication and organization skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong interpersonal and team player skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strategic planner and strong business insight
- Knowledge of Open Table preferred not required
Salary
$60,000.0 - $75,000.0 / Annually
