As the Restaurant General Manager of our groundbreaking establishment in Birmingham, MI, your responsibilities will be diverse. This will involve recruiting, training, and supervising our exceptional team, collaborating with management to create effective schedules, inspiring and empowering your staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, analyzing sales trends using advanced financial tools, handling customer concerns, conducting inventory assessments, maintaining impeccable sanitation standards, and personally attending to guests at our bar, counters, and tables. Responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, hiring, and training new restaurant staff.
- Coaching and counseling employees.
- Collaborating with the Chef de Cuisine to ensure high-quality guest experiences and efficient service.
- Reporting as directed during manager meetings.
- Ensuring all employees deliver excellent customer service.
- Working with the management team to create shift schedules and duties.
- Motivating colleagues to uphold Joints standards of excellence.
- Setting pars for LBW, N/A Bev, and all Front of House supplies.
- Monitoring equipment and supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Using financial tools to analyze restaurant sales trends and performance.
- Addressing customer concerns.
- Conducting inventory analysis and necessary reporting.
- Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in the work area.
- Serving orders at the bar, counters, and tables.
Qualifications:.
- 3+ years of full servoce high volume restaurant management experience.
- Ability to excel under pressure in fast-paced settings.
- Proficient in fundamental math and calculations.
- Positive demeanor with robust teamwork or leadership skills.
- Current food handling certifications as per state or local mandates.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Background in a large full-service restaurant with special event space and a retail/gift shop.
