About the Job
We are seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee our fine dining resturant. Areas of responsibility will include our high-volume restaurant & bar. In this role, you will be creating and maintaining relationships with clients and guests and bring a strong passion to elevate ones dining experience. The Restaurant General Manager will serve as the liaison between our Executive Chef and our guests to provide an exceptionally memorable experience.
Responsibilities
· Lead the daily operation of the FOM Team, while directing daily activities and assignments.
· Schedule team in accordance with the standards of the company guidelines.
· Organize and assist with pre-shift and departmental meetings, communication information to the team.
· Ensure the team is trained in accordance with the state of MA requirements for serving alcohol.
· Work seamlessly and in tandem with the team to create memorable experiences for our guests.
· Execute all policies accurately with improvement to quality, service, and operations.
· Develop and lead our FOH team.
· Be present on the floor during peak business periods to ensure guest satisfaction.
· Create a positive work environment. Embody being the liaison between associates and management.
· Practice and ensure cleanliness and safety in all dining & beverage areas.
· Lead, coach, council, and develop FOH teams performance.
· Support the companys philosophy and culture by ensuring customer satisfaction.
· Assist the Restaurant Management Team with any other assignments as needed.
Qualifications
· 3-5 Years Front of House Restaurant Management/Operations experience.
· Proven success with people skills, management techniques, and daily execution of operations
· Demonstrated successful teaching and/or training experience.
· Proven ability to drive sales and motivate teams.
· Proven training, communication, leadership, and financial management skills
· Openness and willingness to learn new techniques.
· Clean work habits with great attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment while maintaining calmness, composure, and hospitality.
· Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
· Must have flexibility with schedule requirements.
· Multilingual (Spanish/Portuguese/English) preferred, but not required.
· Valid TIPS Industry training preferred.
· Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Thorough working knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems
