Restaurant General Manager-Fast Casual (New Restaurant Opening)

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead our team at a new restaurant opening in Chicago, IL. Our scratch kitchen, healthy-lifestyle menu, and the concept took Chicago by storm, now we are on track to open up three (3) more units in 2025. Plus, we have added the catering business to our brand too. Come work with us!

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in the restaurant industry, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, team management, and business development.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Plan and implement strategies to attract customers.
Coordinate the hiring, training, and scheduling of staff.
Monitor and review the performance of staff.
Manage the restaurant's financials and keep appropriate records.
Resolve customer complaints promptly.
Maintain high quality of food, service, and cleanliness in the restaurant.
Collaborate with chefs and other personnel to plan menus that appeal to the target market.
Analyze and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with restaurant management software.
Knowledge of the local market in Chicago, IL.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus.
