About The Smith

The Smith is an extremely popular casual neighborhood brasserie – in fact, several of our locations are among the Top 100 busiest restaurants in the US! The menu features bistro classics, seasonal fare, and craft cocktails. The Position: Restaurant Assistant General Manager

• Assist directly with hiring and training decisions for the front-of-house team
• Hold team accountable for company food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff
• Oversee and ensure that all company systems and policies are maintained 
• Be attentive to all guests and managers while on the floor creating a great guest experience for all.
• Make sure all new employees go through the proper training and have all the necessary tools to be successful in their position.
• Enforce and maintain all labor laws and practices.
• Assist the General Manager in all forecasting and budgeting.
• Attend all necessary senior management meetings in the absence of the General Manager.

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $90,000-$110,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills, etc.
