Respiratory Therapist Expectations:
- Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment, preventative measures to prevent decline in residents’ respiratory function.
- Operate respiratory therapy equipment safely and effectively.
- Meeting with and examining patients with pulmonary diseases, disorders, or complications.
- Work with medical providers and nurses to create treatment plans.
- Care for patients on mechanical ventilation, assisting with intubations, and performing emergency procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
- Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
- Must hold Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials.
- Adult critical care experience is required
- Valid state license(s)
