Respiratory Therapist - West County Care Center

Respiratory Therapist Expectations:

• Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment, preventative measures to prevent decline in residents’ respiratory function.

• Operate respiratory therapy equipment safely and effectively.

• Meeting with and examining patients with pulmonary diseases, disorders, or complications.

• Work with medical providers and nurses to create treatment plans.

• Care for patients on mechanical ventilation, assisting with intubations, and performing emergency procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy

• Must hold Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials.

• Adult critical care experience is required

• Valid state license(s)
