Respiratory Therapist / Nurse. - Lincare Inc..

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist/Nurse to join our growing team, responsible for setting up home medical equipment such as ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP units, and monitors. This role includes educating patients on proper equipment usage and ensuring equipment functions safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate home medical equipment.
• Inspect and adjust equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Review prescriptions and patient information for suitable treatment.
• Maintain organized patient records in compliance with standards.
• Stay updated on respiratory homecare techniques.
• Work on-call after hours and weekends as needed.

Qualifications:

• CRTs and RRTs qualified; RNs, LPNs, LVNs, paramedics, and EMTs may also qualify.
• Must maintain relevant certifications and have a reliable vehicle.
• In-depth knowledge of pulmonary function and rehabilitation.
• Strong communication skills and computer literacy required.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting/moving up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
