Respiratory Care Practitioner - Level I Therapist
Location: Vermont
Job Description:

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner - Level I Therapist, you will provide professional respiratory care to a diverse patient population.
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Vermont (must be obtained prior to the start date).
- Graduate of an AMA approved program for Respiratory Care.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC within one year of the hire date.
- Current ACLS, BLS & PALS certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional respiratory care to patients in various health states.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
- Provide and oversee delivery of patient care for adult ICU populations and all patients requiring respiratory care in the general units.
- Serve patients over a wide variety of areas, including adult, pediatric, and cystic fibrosis patients.
- Respond quickly to emergent situations and endure repetitive physical movement.
- Potential to take Charge and/or work in the ED upon successful completion of proficiencies.

New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.
Sign-On Bonus:
External candidates are eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus:
- $5,000 bonus for professionals with less than three years of directly related experience.
- $10,000 bonus with three or more years of directly related experience.
The bonus is disbursed in three equal payments following the date of hire: in the pay period following 90 days of service, and in the pay periods following the 1st and 2nd year anniversaries in the position. Please note all bonuses are subject to applicable taxes. Current University of [Client] Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus.
