What You’ll Do:
As the Resource and Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll oversee the procurement, organization, and distribution of essential goods for program participants, including food, clothing, and hygiene products. You’ll also manage volunteer engagement efforts, coordinate meal donations, and foster relationships with local businesses and community partners. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining inventory and coordinating donations to meet participant needs.
- Supervising and supporting volunteer activities, including individual and group engagements.
- Partnering with internal teams to plan community events and initiatives.
- Building meaningful connections with participants to support their self-determined goals.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and collaborative, with a strong commitment to social justice and anti-oppression values. Requirements include:
- 1-3 years of administrative or coordination experience, preferably in human services or community outreach.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
- Tech-savviness, particularly with tools like Google Workspace.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to carry up to 25 pounds.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish or Haitian Creole are a plus.
