**Job Summary:**We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Resort Bell Person to join our dynamic team at The Sebastian Vail. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable experience from arrival to departure. As a Bell Person, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, providing information about the resort’s facilities, and delivering a warm welcome that reflects our commitment to hospitality.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression
- Assist guests with luggage, delivering it to their rooms promptly and efficiently
- Valet cars
- Provide information about the resort’s amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth process for guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and bell stand areas
- Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Transport guests and their belongings to and from vehicles, guestrooms, and other areas of the resort as required
- Ensure that safety and security protocols are adhered to for the well-being of guests and staff
- Assist with special requests, such as arranging transportation, restaurant reservations, and special celebrations
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary
- Participate in training and development programs to maintain a high level of knowledge about resort offerings and services.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; hospitality experience is a plus
- Previous experience as a Bell Person or in a similar role in the hospitality industry is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy luggage, as well as standing for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly in a dynamic environment
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if driving guests is required)
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
