Position: Residential Remodeling Assistant General Manager
Location: Eastlake, OH (serving Northeast Ohio)
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000+ (based on experience and qualifications)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Assistant General Manager to support day-to-day operations and ensure seamless execution of residential remodeling projects. This hands-on role requires a 'Jack of All Trades' with expertise across various trades, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lead by example. You will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality standards across projects, fostering teamwork, and contributing to our growth.
- Project Oversight & Support
- Visit job sites daily to monitor progress, ensure quality, and address challenges.
- Assist Project Managers with timelines, material coordination, subcontractor communication, and overall site management.
- Provide hands-on support, stepping in to complete tasks as needed, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and tile work.
- Operational Leadership
- Act as a key decision-maker in the General Manager's absence.
- Help manage personnel and foster a positive, solutions-driven culture.
- Conduct pre-project planning, including site walkthroughs, measurements, and documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for scheduling, change orders, and project reviews.
- Client & Team Collaboration
- Maintain clear and empathetic communication with homeowners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Mentor team members to promote professional growth and alignment with company goals.
- Administrative & Reporting
- Track project budgets, expenses, and timelines.
- Prepare detailed progress reports and performance metrics for leadership.
- Assist in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in residential remodeling or construction, with a strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and tile work.
- Hands-on expertise in both high-end and standard home remodeling (1,200-10,000 sq. ft.).
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and processes.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman Certification or licenses in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.
- Ability to pull permits and secure Certificates of Occupancy (CO).
- Familiarity with construction regulations and compliance.
- Other Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (truck preferred).
- Personal hand tools (power tools are a plus).
- Ability to pass a background check.
