We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential Project Manager to join our team in a leading Construction Company. As a Residential Project Manager, you will manage all aspects of the construction process, including the selection of contractors, budget management, and ensuring that the project is completed within the agreed timeframe. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and make a significant impact on our company's success.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing project development from initiation to closure.
- Be accountable for project results, ensuring adherence to established standards of quality control.
- Manage project budget, monitor expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the project progresses.
- Efficiently identify and solve project issues, foreseeing potential problems and proactively heading them off.
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders, liaising with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Manage materials, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are available when needed.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Competent in construction estimating and cost control.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Strong vendor management skills, with the ability to select and manage contractors and suppliers.
- A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
- Certifications in Project Management would be a great advantage.
